GoE INTERNATIONAL

August 16th - 20th, 2017
The Garden of England 15th Anniversary was a memorable event for all concerned. Competitors from all over the UK as well as across Europe converged to compete for the highest prize money in the UK, as well as the many exciting prizes. The Open Reining, hotly contested by some of the best trainers in Europe was won by Bastien Bourgeois in both Shows 1 & 2. The Intermediate Open went to Doug Allen in Show 1 and Stefano Ferri in Show 2 and the Limited Open went to Andrew Plant in Show 1 and Louise McKnight in Show 2.
In the Non Pro Tabitha Sternberg Allen dominated both shows riding homebred Legendary Chuka to win the Intermediate Non Pro and Non Pro classes in Show 1 and all 3 divisions in Show 2. The winner of the Limited Non Pro in Show 1 was Cat Pinney. Luke Phillimore on Tin Whizzen placed well for the UK and Austrian rider Markus Duesner put in a great performance. Steve Mestagh from Belgium also took money away across the Channel after some excellent runs.
